Tomorrowland directed by Brad Bird (Ratatouille, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol) is a creative original movie about a former boy genius Frank (George Clooney) who is now older, somewhat bitter and agitated, but with a wonderful imagination living as a recluse and a gifted teenager Casey Newton (Britt Robertson) who is seeking the entrance to Tomorrowland, an alternate land existing in another dimension. Tomorrowland was created so the world best, brightest and most creative could experiment freely without the intervention of bureaucrats and politicians. Casey’s journey with Frank and a pint sized human looking robot (Raffey Cassidy) is filled with excitement, battles with robots, a space ship blasting off from within the Eiffel Tower and so much more. Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland is original, inventive, unpredictable, and often breathtaking. Summertime films to date have been great yet sequel driven: now we get the first and maybe the most original film to debut in theatres this year.
Next up at the Warwick will be Far From the Madding Crowd on June 5, while Pixar’s Inside Out will premier at 7PM on June 18. Some other movies slated for the summer are ME, EARL and THE DYING GIRL a Fox Searchlight film that received raves at Sundance this year, MINIONS, the follow-up film to DESPICABLE ME and a new Woody Allen in late August.
Beginning this Tuesday Warwick Cinema will introduce SUPER DISCOUNT TUESDAY, when all seats will be $8.00 all day – all night long!
See You at the Movies!
